  • The set included her latest single “Here All Night” and a soaring cover of “I Wanna Dance with Somebody.”

Her performance kicked off Live from Roku City, Roku’s new experiment that blends original music programming with interactive streaming. Viewers could drop into Roku’s virtual skyline and watch Demi perform her new single “Here All Night” and a stripped-back cover of “I Wanna Dance with Somebody.”

Directed by Hannah Lux Davis and produced by Good World Creative and London Alley, the set was part concert film, part digital art — built to move seamlessly inside Roku’s animated world.

It’s a sharp play for the platform, turning what’s usually a screensaver into a cultural space. And for Demi, it’s another reinvention — less spectacle, more substance.

Live from Roku City is expected to feature more artists in the coming months, each reimagining what a “live” performance can look like in a virtual age. Roku might just have found a new way to make people stop scrolling — and start watching.
