New Year’s Eve just got a serious upgrade. ABC and Dick Clark Productions have announced the star-packed hosting lineup for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2026, the No. 1 New Year’s Eve celebration on TV.
Ryan Seacrest returns to the heart of Times Square to lead the iconic midnight countdown, joined once again by global entertainer Rita Ora, who will co-host the New York City celebration as the ball drops on 2025.
This year’s show goes bicoastal (and beyond):
In Chicago, GRAMMY-winning artist and hometown hero Chance the Rapper will serve as co-host, leading the Central Time Zone countdown.
In Las Vegas, NFL legend Rob Gronkowski returns, teaming up with performer and presenter Julianne Hough, who makes her NYRE co-hosting debut live from the Entertainment Capital of the World.
A Puerto Rico celebration is also confirmed, with more details and performers still to come.
The broadcast has a history of massive moments — from Taylor Swift’s “1989” medley to Carrie Underwood’s show-stopping Times Square set — and last year drew more than 29 million viewers at midnight. NYRE 2026 is set to keep that streak going with another huge performer lineup to be announced in the coming weeks.
