Netflix has confirmed that The Hunting Wives Season 2 is officially in production, with Sophie, Margo, and Margo’s now-iconic wig reunited on set. Fans of the breakout hit can expect even more secrets, scheming, and suburban chaos as cameras start rolling in the U.S.
Alongside previously confirmed cast members Brittany Snow, Malin Akerman, Jaime Ray Newman, Dermot Mulroney, Evan Jonigkeit, and George Ferrier, Netflix also announced three returning faces:

Karen Rodriguez
(Deputy Salazar)
returning as a series regular

Hunter Emery
(Deputy Flynn)

Branton Box
(Sheriff Johnny)
returning as a guest star
The second season, based on May Cobb’s bestselling novel and helmed once again by creator Rebecca Cutter (Hightown), follows Sophie and Margo no longer on speaking terms — but new enemies and buried truths quickly pull them back into the spiral. As the season asks: Are they the hunters… or the hunted?
Season 1 was a major Netflix success, debuting July 21 and spending five consecutive weeks in the Global English Top 10, amassing 20M+ views, despite being available only in the U.S.

Season 2 will release as a Netflix-branded series in nearly all regions globally.
