Cousins Beach charm landed in the Bronx yesterday as The Summer I Turned Pretty stars Chris Briney, Sean Kaufman, and Minnie Mills swapped sand for stadium seats at Yankee Stadium. The trio, joined by Briney’s girlfriend Isabel Machado, were spotted taking in the Red Sox vs. Yankees rivalry game — and fans are still buzzing.

The cast brought laid-back summer vibes to the ballpark, laughing and cheering through one of baseball’s most heated matchups. For longtime fans of the series, seeing the group outside of Cousins felt like a fun crossover moment — one part TV family reunion, one part quintessential New York summer night.
Ahead of the first pitch, the group even got a behind-the-scenes moment with Red Sox outfielder Jarren Duran. Photos from the evening show Briney and his castmates chatting with the player, who seemed just as excited to meet them as they were to soak up the game.

It’s no surprise the internet immediately caught on. Social media was quick to circulate fan-snapped photos and videos with captions like “Conrad Fisher at Yankee Stadium feels so right” and “Steven and Shayla belong everywhere, even the Bronx.” The outing only added fuel to the cast’s reputation for keeping their off-screen bond just as strong as the one fans adore on screen.

Briney and Machado also turned heads with their easygoing date-night energy. The couple, who keep their relationship mostly private, looked relaxed and happy as they enjoyed the game together. For fans, it was a rare glimpse into Briney’s personal life beyond his now-iconic role as Conrad Fisher.
The timing felt fitting too. With summer winding down and audiences already speculating about what Season 3 of TSITP will bring, the Yankee Stadium cameo served as one last sunny send-off. Baseball has always been about nostalgia and tradition, and watching the cast lean into that energy made the night feel almost cinematic.

What could have been just another baseball game became a cultural moment — proof of how much the Summer I Turned Pretty cast has grown beyond the screen. For a few hours, the country’s most famous rivalry met one of TV’s most beloved ensembles, and the result was exactly what fans wanted: a little more summer magic before the season slips away.
