Get your red carpets and rare sneakers ready — the 2025 Footwear News Achievement Awards (or, as insiders call them, the “Shoe Oscars”) are officially back.


The annual celebration of style, innovation, and sneaker culture will take place on December 3, 2025, at Cipriani 25 Broadway in New York City, honoring icons from Pharrell Williams to Coco Gauff.

Leading the pack, Pharrell Williams and Adidas will take home Shoe of the Year for the Virginia Adistar Jellyfish, a futuristic design merging movement, glow, and artistry.


“I dreamed of a shoe that felt alive,” Pharrell shared. “Something that moved like water — fluid, futuristic, and free.”

Also being honored: Tommy Hilfiger, who will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award for his decades-long impact on global fashion. Meanwhile, tennis superstar Coco Gauff is this year’s Style Influencer of the Year, further cementing her off-court fashion dominance.
